1. Bonafide members, from the time of his acceptance, should not apply to be a member of any other Cebu-based gamefowl breeders or cockers association.
2. A member is required to field 1 compulsory entry in the annual main stag derby for every 100 cockerels wingbanded by the association. Failure to do so will subject him to INACTIVE status for the following year.
Examples:
100 cockerels banded = 1 compulsory entry
101 cockerels banded = 2 compulsory entries
100 cockerels banded & no entry fielded = Inactive status
101 cockerels banded & only 1 fielded entry = Inactive status
3. Inactive status similar to requirements for new applicants as follows:
- Wingbanding will be done with the deposit prior to banding of ½ the sum of the annual main stag derby entry fee. The one compulsory entry per 100 cockerels banded will still apply.
Examples:
100 cockerels banded = ½ entry fee deposit required
101 cockerels banded = full entry fee deposit required
4. Inactive members and new applicants who fail to field the required entry/entries in the compulsory derby will forfeit the monetary deposits they made in favor of CVBA.
5. Compulsory entry credit clarifications:
- A member who is unable to field an entry in the compulsory derby with his banded cockerels can finance an entry or buy stags of a fellow member taking the full credit of 1 entry. However, 2 successive years of doing so will subject him to INACTIVE status.
- A member who has cockerels bought from him, or has his cockerels financed by other individuals will take full credit of each entry fielded provided that all stags fielded in each of these entries were banded under his name.
6. Patronage refunds will be given only to the breeders of the stags regardless of who owned or financed the entry at the time of the derby. An entry with stags banded from different member breeders will not earn any refund.
7. Members of the Board of Directors are further required to field a compulsory entry in the annual lean-up stag derby. Failure to do so will also subject him to pay ½ the amount of the clean-up stag derby entry fee the succeeding year prior to wingbanding. However, only 1 entry is required for the clean-up regardless of the number of cockerels banded. Credits of clean-up fielded entries are the same as stipulated in Item 5.
